Vandan Kumar has been working with several churches in the Andra Pradesh and Telanagana states in India for many years. Just as we all have, they have been affected in many ways by the worldwide pandemic. The church has not been able to meet for over 60 days and it seems they will remain in this state for some time; at the same time, many of the church members are out of work.
The elders at Dalraida saw fit to send some extra funds through Vandan to assist as many as he could. To this point, he has been able to use this money to help 625 families. Of these, 250 were migrant laborers who were out of work, 25 were families of preachers, and 350 were families from the church as well as Hindu and Muslim families. Vandan has been using this as an opportunity to open the door of the Gospel to this last group.
