The Hannah Family has has done some wonderful work for the Lord’s Church in 2019. Check out a brief excerpt from their year-in-review report:
2019 was full of adventure for the Eight Mile Rock church. We had ups and downs in membership. There are two individuals who are delinquent; we had two baptisms, two rededications and one transfer (14 in total).
We have been working as a congregation on basic Bible facts and a rigorous Memory Work plan where we memorize points per chapter (similar to Kids Sing by Glenn Colley) and recite them in Bible Class. For Example: Genesis 1 Creation, Genesis 2 God Rested and the First Marriage. We also memorize and recite Scriptures in unison from the KJV during worship between songs. Increased Bible knowledge has been a blessing.
The men have continued in classes to grow in Spiritual leadership skills like conducting public prayer, preparing a lesson etc. We are looking forward to great things from them. The Ladies have all taught classes and set goals individually for 2020!
