Adrian Sookdeo is a graduate of the school of Preaching in Tobago. He gave up secular work and education to follow his desire to serve the Lord full time in a time where good sound preachers and evangelists are few and far between.
Emily started going to Trinidad and Tobago in 2002 on one week mission trips and fell in love with the Islands. Her family moved there in 2010 for 3 years for her dad to teach in the school. Adrian and Emily met while Emily was attending the classes at the school and were married after about 18 months of dating/engagement. They have worked with two different congregations in Trinidad but due to lack of funds as well as the desire to grow spiritually, they moved to Tobago in March of 2017 to work full time with Canaan, which at the time was less than a year old.
